Turtle Power

Of all of life’s hurdles that we must overcome, it’s our tough outer shells to which we mustn’t succumb. And as turtles we will crawl toward success, and in a sea of confusion we wont fall from duress.
You can swim fast, and you can climb. But you can’t shield yourself from these rhymes. Because what you know is what you’re hearing, and then you’ll glisten with a feeling.
I’m the turtle! I’m the beast! On plants and algae I do feast! But I slurp up worms beside my fishes, and engorge myself on tasty dishes.
I can bite off your fingers or even your face. And I might just try it to know the taste. Because I’m guilty of being curious. And sometimes I am just plain furious.
So don’t fuck with me because I’m wisdom itself. You can’t even begin to understand my wealth. And if you’d like to know what’s good for your health, just snap your ass back and recoil yourself.
Money is green and I am too. This ocean is mine as it is blue. So try to keep up and follow me through, see waves by me and do like I do.
Straws are evil, it’s a fact. It’s like your peehole, that little tract. Then take a spike and gouge around it! Then you’ll sense how my nose found it.
You humans are nothing short of disgusting. Your ship wrecks surround me are all rusting. You kill with negligence, you don’t care. At least I do it on purpose: right and fair.
You taint the world worse than my gas does. And vomit shit more than my ass does. But somehow you’re blind to it all. Which makes you stupid as you are tall.
So when you’re looking around for the next world to screw. I’ll laugh at how much you honestly blew. Because my spirit will grow and it will last. And you’ll be naught but a ghost I shrewdly outcast.
